Everything We Do is Seed for a Harvest

Luke 6:38
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, shall men give into your bosom.  For with the same measure that you use it shall be measured back to you.

Think about the statement, “Give, and it shall be given unto you.”  Just as when God said in His commandments, “Thou shall not”, we were given a choice.  A choice to either do the thing we were told not to do and suffer the consequence (or harvest) or to choose not to do it and continue in the Blessing.

It is he same thing when it comes to receiving.  Thou shall give and it shall be given.  When we give, it shall be given unto us.  Just as it is with the “shall not”, the “shall” will bring the same thing: consequence or harvest.  Everything we do is seed for a harvest.

The “shall not” always works.  Even though the fruit is not always instantly evident, the fruit always bears the resemblance to the seed.  How much more the Word of the Lord, “Thou shall” must bear its fruit after the seed is sown.

Receive, receive, receive.  It is the covenant of God.
